Protect electrical components from weather and select a well-drained area that will not flood.
Set on firm, level ground with adequate clearance for access and gravity drainage.
Use 1-1/4" or 1-1/2" I.D. flexible plastic pipe or hose with insert fittings and stainless steel clamps.
Use 1-1/2″ N.P.T. connections with plastic male-end adapters and Teflon tape or sealant.
Ball type valves are recommended for plumbing connections.
Connect pool suction plumbing to skimmer/outlet and pool return (inlet) plumbing.
All electrical connections should be made in accordance with local codes.
Open air relief valve, close valves, shut off pump, open drain and suction valves to flush.
Depress safety latch, unscrew lid counterclockwise, and lift out filter element.
Place lid evenly on body, turn clockwise until latch engages securely to safety latch.
Pressure wash cartridge, soak in cleaner for oils, or soak in muriatic acid for mineral deposits.
Vacuum directly into filter. Clean filter before and after vacuuming for best results.
Drain or remove filter from location and store indoors in sub-freezing temperatures.
Maintain a free chlorine level of at least 1.0 ppm to prevent algae growth.
Provides suggested pH, alkalinity, chlorine, bromine, and stabilizer levels.
