(1.5 m). Also, if the walking belt is overtightened, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Use the hex key to turn both idler roller screws counterclockwise, 1/4 of a turn. When correctly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 2 to 3 inches (5 to 7 cm) off the walking platform. It is important to note that your treadmill belt is coated with a high-performance lubricant; avoid applying silicone spray or other substances unless directed by an authorized service representative.

  If the console displays on your Healthrider Treadmill remain lit after removing the key, the demo mode may be turned on. To turn off the demo mode, hold down the Stop button for a few seconds. If the displays are still lit, see THE INFORMATION MODE on page 21 to turn off the demo mode.

How to fix the incline on a Healthrider Treadmill?

  To recalibrate the incline system on your Healthrider Treadmill, hold down the Stop button and the Speed increase button, insert the key into the console, and then release the Stop button and the Speed increase button. Press the Stop button and then press the Incline increase or decrease button. The treadmill will automatically rise to the maximum incline level and then return to the minimum level.
