How to fix Healthrider HRTL11940 Treadmill that does not turn on?

  If your Healthrider Treadmill doesn't turn on, ensure the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor, and the surge suppressor is plugged into a grounded outlet. The treadmill is not compatible with GFCI-equipped outlets. Also, make sure the key is fully inserted into the console. Finally, check the reset/off circuit breaker on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the switch protrudes, the breaker has tripped; wait five minutes, then press the switch back in to reset it.

What to do if the walking belt is off-center or slips on Healthrider HRTL11940?

  If the walking belt on your Healthrider Treadmill is off-center, first remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the belt has shifted to the left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn with the allen wrench. If it has shifted to the right, turn the left bolt counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Avoid overtightening. Plug the power cord back in, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until centered. If the walking belt slips, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Turn both rear roller bolts clockwise 1/4 turn with the allen wrench. Ensure you can lift each side of the belt 3 to 4 inches off the platform when correctly tightened. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and walk on the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until properly tightened.

  If your Healthrider Treadmill's power turns off during use, first check the reset/off circuit breaker located on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the circuit breaker has tripped, wait five minutes and then press the breaker back in. If this doesn't work, ensure the power cord is properly plugged in; unplug it, wait five minutes, then plug it back in. Alternatively, remove the key from the console and reinsert it.

Why does the walking belt slow down when walked on Healthrider HRTL11940?

  If the walking belt on your Healthrider Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, it might be overtightened, which can decrease performance and cause damage. To fix this, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Use the provided allen wrench to turn both rear roller adjustment bolts counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. When properly tightened, you should be able to lift the edges of the walking belt 3 to 4 inches off the walking platform. Keep the walking belt centered. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat these steps until the walking belt is correctly tightened.
