A time delay issue might be the problem, in which case performing a calibration could resolve it. 2. The incline motor sensor cable may have a problem. Inspect all wire connections. 3. If the VR of the incline motor sensor is defective or the incline motor is damaged, consider replacing the incline motor. 4. If the incline motor is overloaded or overheated, eliminate human factors that may be contributing to the issue.
