4.Removetheairfresheninglter(optionalonsome
models)fromitssupportframe
•Cleantheairfresheninglteratleastonceamonth
withavacuumclearner,andreplaceitevery4-5
months.
5.Installtheairfresheninglterbackintoposition.
6.Inserttheupperportionofairlterbackintothe
unittakingcarethattheleftandrightedgeslineup
correctlywhileplacingthelterintoitsoriginalposition.
Maintenance:
Ifyoudonotplantousetheunitforanextendedperiod
oftime,performthefollowing:
(1)Operatethefanforabouthalfadaytodrythe
insideoftheunit.
(2)Stoptheairconditioneranddisconnectpower.Re-
movethebatteriesfromtheremotecontroller.
(3)Theoutdoorunitrequiresperiodicmaintenance
andcleaning.Donotattempttodothisyourself.
Contactanauthorizedservice.
Check before operation (after extended period of
non-use):
•Checkthatthewiringisnotbrokenoffordisconnected.
•Checkthattheairlterisinstalled.
•Checkiftheairoutletorinletisblockedaftertheair
conditionerhasnotbeenusedforalongtime.
