tightened against the flat of the shaft,
(¥) Install the large knob on the shaft of the
VFO capacitor, .
test lead, and the negative battery terminal is
connected to the negative (black) test lead, In
some ohmmeters, this wiring is reversed and
erroneous readings will be obtained when mak-
ing these measurements, Try reversing the
ohmmeter test leads if the measurements do not
check out correctly the first time,
Refer to Pictorial 19 (fold-out from Page 47)
for the locations of the test points,
Set the controls as follows:
FUNCTION Switch: OFF.
Meter Switch: BIAS SET.
