3.  Safety

The POSITIP 880 is an advanced digital readout system for performing up to 6 axes 
measurements at very high levels of precision and accuracy. This product is designed for 
indoor use only. The POSITIP 880 components shall only be installed as described in these 
instructions. Mounting, installation and maintenance are to be performed by qualified 
personnel only.

Do not mount in a position that makes it difficult to access the power switch or 
power cable.
The POSITIP 880  may be mounted by attaching the product to a universal mounting arm 
(ID 382929-01), or a mounting base (ID 382892-01). Refer to the Accessories section for 
more information.
