2.5 Trouble shooting
(1) Abnormal noise
Cause for trouble Check method Remedy
Fracture of elastic plate
Check the sound of rotation
under the low speed
Replace elastic plate
Bearing damaged or worn Disassemble and check Replace
Fracture of gear Disassemble and check Replace
Spline worn Disassemble and check Replace
Big noise of oil supply pump Disassemble and check Repair or replace
Loose bolt Disassemble and check Tighten or replace
Too high the oil level Check the scale of oil gauge Fill the oil as specified
Obstruction of oil suction filter Check the oil suction filter Clean or replace
(2) Fail to put into gear or the engine can’t be started up

Burning of circuit fuse Disassemble and check
Replace the fuse after trouble
is eliminated
Loose cable plug
Disassemble and check each

Tighten the connecting cable

(3) Oil temperature too high

3. Drive axle
3.1 General description
The drive axle used for the forklift is the Kessler imported from Germany and
the international large tonnage forklifts all use the drive axles of the Co. The drive
axle is made of differential mechanism, hub reduction gear, wet-type driving brake
and caliper disc type parking brake etc and has the following characteristics:
(1) The driving brake of the drive axle adopts multi-plate and fully-enclosed wet
typebrake, which is portable and convenient in operation and the axle-load has good
