8.1 General Description
The hydraulic system of forklift truck is load sensing power steering. It consists
of main pump, control valve, power steering unit, pilot joystick, pilot oil supply, tilt
cylinder, lift cylinder, flow divider, cut-off valve, oil pipe-lines, balance valve, flow
regulator valve. The oil tank is right side of the truck. The driver operates the control
valve through the pilot joystick so as to control the spot and the speed of the mast .
Compared with the traditional gear pump, because of adopting the high pressure
component, new system can endure the pressure being raised. Under the condition of
the same loading, it may reduce the size or specification of the components and it is
easy to fit; As we know, the hydraulic system is Load sensing power steering, so
pump power may be automatic adjustment with the consuming.Without the
traditional system’s overflow, the system efficiency is higher and more economical on
energy.
8.2 Main Pump
The main pump is variable displacement pump. Its principle of working is that
flow is proportional to drive speed and displacement. By adjusting the position of the
swashplate it is possible to smoothly vary the flow too. Every time flow of the pump
and demanding flow of the cylinder is equal. So output pressure of the pump is only
higher 14 bar than loading pressure and reduces the energy depletion. It is driven by
the PTO device of the gearbox. The oil of the tank flow to the control valve through
