arrow aligns with the reference mark on full
application of the brake, the brake shoes must
be replaced.

Inspection
î Check the rear shock absorber by pushing
hard downwards on rear grip while the
motorcycle is not parked on stand. The
suspension action should be smooth and

Refer to the safety precautions (page 23).
î Check the front forks by locking the front
brake and pumping the front fork up and
down vigorously. The suspension action
should be smooth and their should be no oil
leakage.

Rear Shock Absorber Adjustment
It is recommended you visit to your Authorised
Hero MotoCorp workshop for rear shock
absorber adjustment. Adjustment can be made
according to the load/road conditions.
