Hilti tools are built to last. But even if a defect occurs, Hilti will take care of it.
Quickly and professionally, completely free of charge for up to 2 years from date of
purchase. After that we continue to prove the quality of our products by putting a
limit on what a repair can cost – for as long as you continue using your Hilti tool. We
even give you a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty against manufacturing defects.
That’s not just reassuring to know, it’s unique in this field.
No costs for up to 2 years
In the event of need for repair, Hilti carries the cost of pick-up and return transport,
labor, repairs including replacement of all defective parts (including parts subject to
wear and tear!), servicing when indicated by the tool, plus a functional and safety
check after completion of every repair.
Lifetime repair cost limit
After reaching the end of the 1- or 2-year no-cost period, you pay a maximum of
30% of the corresponding new tool’s list price in the event of a repair. Should the
repair cost remain below this limit you, of course, pay only the actual cost of the
repair – over the entire life of your Hilti tool. Beyond this, as added confirmation of
Hilti quality, any tool breakdown within the first 6 months after the last repair will be
repaired free of charge as in the first one or two-year no-cost period.
Lifetime manufacturer’s warranty
Hilti repairs or replaces, free of charge, all tools that suffer faults or defects as a
result of faulty materials or manufacturing faults – over the entire life of the product.
Lifetime Service
* Heavy diamond tools with operating hours counter: No Costs for 1 year or 100
hours (whatever is reached first). Angle grinders & ST 1800 corded screw drivers,
PD 5 laser range meter & breakers: No Costs for 1 year. DAG 100-S angle grinder:
No costs for 1 year or 2 times of repair (whatever is reached first), and is excluded
from Repair Cost Limit. Lithium-ion batteries: are excluded from Repair Cost Limit.
Angle grinders: No Costs for 1 month after each repair under Repair Cost Limit.
NiCd/NiMH batteries, accessories and filters are excluded from Hilti Lifetime
Service. Power-actuated fastening tools: pistons and buffers are excluded from
Hilti Lifetime Service. Measuring Systems: calibration services are excluded from
Hilti Lifetime Service.
