To avoid corrosion from battery leakage,
remove the batteries from the instrument if it
is to be stored for a long time.
1. Remove the probes from the instrument.
2. Remove the screw.
3. To remove the battery cover, slide it toward A
as shown in the figure above.
4. Replace all four batteries with new ones.
5. Slide the battery cover toward B to replace it.
6. Fasten the screw.
