These include an empty or low fuel tank (fill it with the correct fuel mix, 25:1-50:1), old fuel in the tank (replace it with new fuel), or a wet spark plug due to too much fuel (disconnect the spark plug and allow it to dry, pull the starter handle 5 or 6 times to remove the surplus fuel, attach the spark plug, then set the choke lever to RUN and pull the starter handle). Other potential causes include a clogged fuel filter (clean it), a bent or disconnected fuel pipe (ensure smooth fuel flow), a dirty spark plug (replace or clean it), an electrode gap that is too big (adjust to 0.6mm), or a poor connection between the high tension cable and spark plug (reconnect it).

Clean a dirty air cleaner and if there is carbon clogging (muffler exhaust port) clean it.
