      If neither sound nor pictures are outputted from your Hitachi Projector, ensure the signal cables are correctly connected. Make sure to correctly set up the signal source device by referring to its manual. Select the input signal and correct the settings. Also, AV mute may be active, so refer to the item 'Sound does not come out' and 'No pictures are displayed' to turn off the MUTE and BLANK functions.

Next, check that the power switch is set to the [ | ] (On) position. If there was a power interruption, such as a blackout, turn the power off, let the projector cool for at least 2 minutes, and then turn it back on. Lastly, confirm that the lamp and lamp cover are properly attached, after allowing the projector to cool down for at least 45 minutes before any maintenance.
