Why are neither sounds nor pictures outputted from my Hitachi CP-WUX645N?

  If you're getting no sound or picture from your Hitachi Projector, first, check that all signal cables are correctly connected. Next, ensure the signal source is correctly set up according to its manual. Then, verify the input changeover settings are correct. Lastly, check if the BLANK or MUTE functions are active; refer to the manual sections on sound and picture issues to turn them off.

Why won't the lamp light on my Hitachi CP-WUX645N and it says the interior is heated?

  If the lamp of your Hitachi Projector doesn't light and there is a possibility that the interior portion has become heated, turn the power off and allow the projector to cool down for at least 20 minutes. Make sure there is no blockage of the air passage aperture, the air filter is not dirty, and the peripheral temperature does not exceed 35°C. If the issue persists, replace the lamp.

  If the pictures on your Hitachi Projector appear dark, adjust the BRIGHTNESS and/or CONTRAST settings to a higher level using the menu function. You can also select NORMAL for the WHISPER item in the SETUP Menu or replace the lamp.

What should I do if the lamp on my Hitachi CP-WUX645N doesn't light and it might be overheating?

  If your Hitachi Projector's lamp doesn't light and the interior may be overheating, turn off the power and allow the projector to cool for at least 20 minutes. After cooling, check for any blockages in the air passage, make sure the air filter is clean, and ensure the ambient temperature is not above 35°C. If the problem continues, try replacing the lamp.

Finally, if a BLANK screen is displayed, press the BLANK button on the remote.

  If your Hitachi Projector isn't powering on, there are several possible reasons. First, ensure the electrical power cord is correctly plugged in. Next, check that the power switch is set to the [ | ] (On) position. If there was a power interruption, such as a blackout, turn the power off, let the projector cool for at least 2 minutes, and then turn it back on. Lastly, confirm that the lamp and lamp cover are properly attached, after allowing the projector to cool down for at least 45 minutes before any maintenance.
