Problems relating to the TV
Problem Solution
No or poor picture. sAdjust the antenna or use an external antenna.
sRelocate the unit near a window (if inside a building).
sMove equipment away from this product that
causes interference.
sDo auto tuning again.
sTry another channel.
No sound or poor
sound.
sCheck the audio settings.
sPress the MUTE button on the remote control to
cancel the mute function.
sUnplug any headphones, if connected.
Noise or other
interface
Electronic equipment near the unit is causing inter-
ference. Relocate the unit or move the equipment.
Problems relating to the DVD Player
Problem Solution
Play does not start,
even when title is
selected.
Confirm the region code setting is right.
Audio soundtrack and/
or subtitle language is
not the initial settings.
If the audio soundtrack and/or subtitle language
does not exist on the disc, the language selected
at the initial settings will not be seen/heard.
No subtitles. sSubtitles appear only with discs that contain them.
sMake sure to select Subtitles ON in the settings,
otherwise they will not be displayed.
Alternative audio
soundtrack (or subtitle)
languages fail to be
selected.
sAn alternative language is not selected with discs
which do not contain more than one language.
sIn the case of some discs, the alternative
language cannot be selected by operating the
LANGUAGE or SUBTITLE button. Try selecting it
from the DVD menu, if one is available.
Angle cannot be
changed.
This function is dependent on software availability.
Even if a disc has a number of angles recorded, these
angles may be recorded for specific scenes only.
