Host/Application Failover
The USP V supports the IRIS
®
FailSafe
®
and SGI Advanced Cluster
Environment (ACE) software products for the SGI IRIX operating system. The
user must make sure to configure the host failover software and any other
high-availability (HA) software as needed to recognize and operate with the
newly attached USP V devices.
For assistance with IRIS FailSafe and/or SGI ACE operations, refer to the user
documentation or contact SGI technical support.
