• To keep the lamps on when
leaving the vehicle, turn the
ignition key to the lock position,
then rotate the lamp control fi rst
to AUTO then to park lamps or
headlamps.
Delayed headlamps
( Egress lighting)
To illuminate a path, set a time delay
from when the ignition is turned to
the lock position to when the lamps
automatically switch off. See Vehicle
personalisation on page 104 .
Hazard warning fl asher
Press to turn the hazard warning
fl asher on or off, when the ignition is
in any position.
All turn signals fl ash continuously.
Use the hazard warning fl asher if
the vehicle becomes a traffi c hazard,
day or night.
Note
Using hazard warning fl ashers while
the vehicle is moving, is illegal in
some States and Countries.
Personal identity keys
The vehicle may have personal
identity keys.
When c is pressed on the key,
the headlamp time delay is set to
the last adjustments used for that
key. See Personal identity keys on
page 18 .
Approach lighting
Approach lighting provides additional
security when returning to the
vehicle at night.
• Press c on the key.
The vehicle headlamps,
park lamps and reverse lamps
will illuminate for 60 seconds.
The vehicle may also have
puddle lamps which will also
illuminate.
• The lamps only turn on if the
lamp control is left in the AUTO
position.
