204 Climate control
Note
• Use a minimum of manual
adjustment.
• The AUTO icon on the display
goes out when the system is
operating manually.
• Allow the system to stabilise
before changing settings.
Air conditioning
• Press n (G) to switch the air
conditioning on and off.
• n appears on the display bar (A)
when switched on.

Note
• When

selected, the air conditioning is
automatically switched on.
• To conserve fuel, the air
conditioning may be switched off
in cold weather.
Other climate control functions
are maintained.
• Air conditioning removes
moisture and heat from the air.
• Switch the air conditioning on
for at least 5 to 10 minutes once
every 2 weeks to lubricate the
system, even in winter.
• Air conditioning cannot be turned
off in demist mode.
• Air conditioning may switch

f during heavy acceleration,
towing or when there is abnormal
system pressure.
Recirculation
• Press (L) to switch the air
intake between recirculated air
and outside air.

Note
• Recirculation reuses interior air
so is not recommended for long
periods of time.
If left on, fresh air is let into the
cabin periodically.
• Do not use recirculation if
occupants are smoking.
• Recirculation cannot be activated
in demist mode.
Pollution mode
• Pollution mode selects
recirculation when the vehicle
speed is less than 15 km/h to
prevent exhaust fumes entering
the interior in heavy, stop/start
traffi c.
• To switch on or off, press and
hold for 4 seconds.
• Pollution Mode ON or Pollution
Mode OFF appear on the
display.
