Climate control 203
Automatic operation
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Press AUTO (I) if the icon is not
already displayed.
3. Use the temperature controls
(C) and (F) to adjust the
temperature.
4. Allow the system to stabilise for a
few minutes.
5. Adjust the angle of the air vents.
Note
The setting does not change
when the ignition is turned off or
on (except if extreme hot or cold
is selected).
Fan
• Press + or on (K) to increase
or decrease the fan speed.
The fan speed appears on the
display.
Note
The climate control sets the fan
speed automatically.
When adjusting the fan speed,
the system will revert to semi-
automatic operation.
An animation will appear on the
display bar (A).
When the engine is not running,
fan speed is limited to conserve
the battery.
To return to automatic operation,
press AUTO (I).
Mode
Press the mode buttons (E) and
(J) to switch between the following
positions:
• Face mode directs air to both
dashboard and console vents.
Bi-level mode directs
approximately half the air to both
dashboard and console vents
and most of the remaining air to
the oor vents.
Cooler air is directed to the upper
outlets and warmer air to the
oor vents.
• Floor mode directs most of
the air to the oor vents, some
to the outer dashboard vents,
windscreen and side window
demist vents.
Floor and windscreen demist
(blend) mode directs air
between the windscreen and
oor vents, some to the outer
dashboard vents and side
window demist vents.
The settings appear on the
display bar (A).
Note
Manual selection of any mode
will revert the system to
semi-automatic operation.
To return to automatic operation,
press AUTO (I).
Auto
• Pressing AUTO (I) switches the
system to automatic.
AUTO appears on the
display bar (A).
