Why Holmatro DPU31 engine fails to start?

  There are several reasons why the Holmatro Water Pump engine might fail to start: * The engine oil level may be low. Add engine oil to the correct level. * There may be excess engine oil. Remove the excess. * The pump may be out of fuel. Add fuel. * The switch might be off. Turn the engine switch to the ON position. * The choke position may be incorrect. Set the choke to the correct position. * There might be kinked lines. Remove the kinks. * The spark plug could be fouled, resulting in no or a weak spark. Replace the spark plug.

  If you're having trouble disconnecting the quick-action couplings on your Holmatro Water Pump, here's what you can do: * Ensure the control handle is in the neutral position. If it's in the open or closed position, release it. * Release the locking sleeve if it's in an incorrect position. * If the system isn't releasing pressure: a. Turn off the pump. b. Release pressure at the bypass valve by turning the valve stem all the way in clockwise. c. Disconnect the hose(s) between the pump and tool(s). d. Close the bypass valve. e. Connect a replacement hose between the pump and tool. f. Restart the pump. If the problem continues, repeat troubleshooting (a-f) on the other pump connection.
