Operating instructions
Connection to carrier using standard attachments
1. Connect the sweeper to the carrier’s machine attach-
ment. See Instruction Manual for respective carrier.
2. Connect the quick couplings on the drive hoses to the
third function hydraulic outlet or to the hydraulic
motor circuit on the carrier.
3. Connect the quick couplings on the angling cylinder
to the fourth function hydraulic outlet. (If the sweeper
roller is equipped with electrohydraulic angling, con-
nect the cabling to the carrier. For electrical connec-
tion, see electrical diagram in spare parts catalogue.)
4. Start the sweeper roller by moving the lever for the
third hydraulic function to its locked position or
activating the hydraulic motor circuit.
5. Check that the sweeper roller is rotating in the right
direction. If the sweeper roller is rotating in the wrong
direction in the locked position, change the locked
position or change the quick couplings for the third
hydraulic function.
Connection to carrier without own lifting device
1. Connect both lifting cylinder hoses to a double-acting
hydraulic function, set connection pin in position, see
figure 6.
2. Lift up the attachment and run the vehicle forward to-
wards the machine. Attach the sweeper to the carrier.
3. Lift the sweeper and remove the pin from the
connection device. Remove the supports.
4. Check the tilt angle (the correct tilt angle is when the
centre attachment on the sweeper roller is vertical.
Check with a spirit level, if necessary). Adjust the tilt
angle by means of washers between gate and rear
attachment (see figure 7 or use adjusting screws if the
machine is equipped with a tilt device.
5. Connect the quick couplings on the drive hoses to
a double-acting hydraulic outlet or to the hydraulic
motor circuit on the carrier.
Check that the machine is secured to the carrier.
Warning! Check that there is no one present within
the risk area (15 m radius around the machine) in
order to prevent injury from objects thrown up by
the roller.
