Why is my Homewerks Fan so loud?
    • H
      Hunter DonaldsonAug 7, 2025
A Homewerks Fan may be louder than expected due to several reasons. The CFM might be too high for the room's size, so ensure the fan's CFM rating matches your room. The damper could be damaged or malfunctioning; check if it opens and closes correctly, and contact Customer Service if damaged. Sharp bends in the duct close to the fan discharge (within 18 inches) can also cause noise, so avoid these. Using a smaller duct than recommended can increase noise; use the correct size ducting. Lastly, ensure the fan body is securely attached to the ceiling joists.

What to do if my Homewerks Fan is not clearing humidity?
    • C
      corey13Aug 16, 2025
If your Homewerks Fan isn't clearing humidity, it could be due to insufficient airflow intake. Make sure a door or window is slightly ajar or open to allow airflow. Also, check that the fan's CFM rating matches the room's footage. If the fan clears steam from the room within approximately 15 minutes after you shower, it is working correctly.

What to do if Homewerks 7130-33-BT Fan switch will not power up?

      Christopher OwensAug 28, 2025
If the switch for your Homewerks Fan won't power up, the issue may be a wiring problem at the switch or the power isn't on at the fuse box or circuit breaker. Check the wiring to make sure it is correct. Also, verify that the power is turned on.
