Why is my Homewerks 7130-13-BT Fan so loud?
    • C
      colleen17Jul 29, 2025
A Homewerks Fan can be louder than expected for several reasons. The CFM might be too high for the room's size, so ensure the CFM rating matches the room's square footage. The damper could be damaged or not working correctly; check that it opens and closes properly, and contact Customer Service if damaged. Sharp bends in the duct close to the fan discharge (within 18 inches) can also cause noise. Using the recommended duct size is important, as reducing the fan discharge to fit a smaller duct increases noise. Lastly, ensure the fan is securely attached to the ceiling joists.

What to do if my Homewerks Fan is not clearing humidity?
    • R
      rebecca68Aug 5, 2025
If your Homewerks Fan isn't clearing humidity, it could be due to insufficient airflow intake in the room. Make sure a door or window is slightly open to allow airflow, as the fan needs sufficient airflow to draw air out of the room. Also, ensure the CFM rating of the fan matches the square footage of your room, as insufficient CFM can also cause this issue.

What to do if Homewerks 7130-13-BT switch has power but fan doesn't?
    • R
      Robert StewartAug 13, 2025
If the Homewerks Fan switch has power but the fan doesn't, it could be that the grille isn't receiving a signal from the switch. Try turning off the power, disconnecting the grille for 5 seconds, then reconnecting it and testing. Repeat as necessary. Alternatively, the neutral wire connection from the switch to the fan might not be engaging; in this case, run a dedicated neutral wire from the switch to the fan. Consult an electrician if necessary.

Why Homewerks Fan switch will not power up?
    • J
      Joshua SmithAug 19, 2025
If the Homewerks Fan switch won't power up, it may be due to a wiring issue at the switch, or the power is not turned on at the fuse box or circuit breaker. Check the wiring diagram and confirm wiring is correct. Verify the power is turned on.
