BPSASSEMBLK
Remove the gearshift pedal.
Remove the clutch. (Section
8)
Remove the gearshift spindle and gearshift
return spring.
Remove the shift drum stopper arm.
Remove the stopper plate bolt.
Remove the drum stopper plate, gearshift
drum pins and collar.
Remove the drum plate and dowel
pins.
Inspect
all
parts for wear or damage.
TRANSMISSION DISASSEMBLY
Separate the crankcases, (Section
9)
Inspect each gear for backlash.
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.02 mm 10.008 in.)
Remove the crankshaft bearing holders.
(Section
10)
