Your device can receive FM Trafc
Message Channel (TMC) trafc
content.
For information about trafc
receivers and coverage areas, go to
www.garmin.com/trafc.
The FM TMC trafc receiver, is
integrated in the cradle. The optional
TMC antenna (reference 08A44-
2M6-GTM) is required.
Subscription Activation
You do not need to activate the
subscription included with your FM
trafc receiver. The subscription
activates automatically after your
device acquires satellite signals
while receiving trafc signals from
the pay service provider.
Receiving Trafc
Information
The device must be in data range of
an FM station transmitting trafc
information.
1. Connect the optional TMC
antenna (reference 08A44-2M6-
GTM) to the cradle by inserting
the mini-USB connector
NOTE: Heated (metallized)
windshields could degrade the
performance of the trafc receiver.
