Avoid f ull-throttle starts and rapid
acceleration.
Avoidhardbraking.Newbrakes
need to be broken-in by moderate
use for the first 300 km (200
miles).
Do not change the oil until the
recommended time or distance
intervalshowninthemaintenance
schedule.
Youshouldfollowthesesamere-
commendations with an overhauled
or exchanged engine, or when the
brakes are relined.
Using petrol containing lead will
damage your vehicle’s emissions con-
trols and engine. This contributes to
air pollution.
Useofaloweroctanepetrolcan
cause a persistent, heavy metallic
rapping noise in the engine that can
lead to mechanical damage.
Help assure your vehicle’s future
reliability and performance by paying
extra attention to how you drive
during the first 1,000 km (625 miles).
Your vehicle is designed to operate
on Premium/Super unleaded petrol
with a Research Octane Number
(RON) of 95 or higher.
