MAINTENANCE
BRAKE
SYSTEM
Inspect
the
brake hoses and fittings for deterioration, cracks
and signs
of
leakage. Tighten any loose fittings.
Replace
hoses
and
fittings
as
required.
BRAKE
LIGHT
SWITCH
Adjust
the
brake light switch so
that
the
brake light will
come
on when the brake engagement begins.
Adjust by holding
the
switch body and turning
the
adjusting
nut. Do
not
turn the switch body.
Turn the adjusting nut clockwise
if the brake light comes on
too late.
HEADLIGHT
AIM
NOTE
Adjust
the
headlight beam as specified by local laws and
regualtions.
On
dual headlight model, adjust
the
right and left
headlights individually.
Adjust vertically by turning the vertical adjusting screw.
Adjust horizontally by turning the horizontal adjusting
screw.
An
improperly adjusted headlight may blind oncoming
drivers, or
it
may fail to light the road for a safe distance.
