THE FOLLOWING EXTERNAL FAULTS ARE AVAILABLE IN LEVEL 2 SELF-TEST:
Description:
SELF-TEST INVALID (WinVIEWS ONLY)
Probable Cause: Electrical short at the Self-Test input.
Action: Verify wiring from the Self-Test discrete.
Enunciation:
“MOMENTARY TERRAIN SELECT 1 (or 2) INVALID”
Probable Cause: Electrical short at the Terrain Select inputs.
Action: Verify wiring from the terrain “ON” switches.
Enunciation:
“PROGRAM PIN READ ERROR”
Probable Cause: Wiring error to the program pins.
Action: Verify wiring to each program pin.
Enunciation:
“CALLOUTS OPTION INVALID”
Probable Cause: Wiring error to the Callout Options program pins.
Action: Verify wiring to the Callout Options program pins.
Enunciation:
“AUDIO MENU INVALID”
Probable Cause: Wiring error to the Audio Menu program pins.
Action: Verify wiring to the Audio Menu program pins.
Enunciation:
“PROGRAM PIN <XX> INVALID” (where XX is a number)
Probable Cause: Invalid option selected.
Action: Verify wiring to all program pins.
Description: “CONFIGURATION MODULE READ ERROR” (WinVIEWS ONLY)
Probable Cause: The Configuration Module is faulty.
Action: Cycle power to EGPWC. If fault persists, reprogram or replace the Configuration Module.
Description: “CONFIGURATION MODULE NOT PROGRAMMED” (WinVIEWS ONLY)
Probable Cause: The Configuration Module is new, or never has been programmed.
Action: Reprogram the Configuration Module. See Appendix C.
Description: “CONFIGURATION MODULE NOT COMPATIBLE (WinVIEWS ONLY)
Probable Cause: The Configuration Module is faulty.
Action:
Cycle power to the EGPWC. If the persist reprogram the Configuration Module. If the
condition persist, replace the Program Module. See Appendix C.
Description: “SUPPORT TASK FAILED”
Probable Cause: Fault History Memory Full.
Action: Erase Fault History.
Description: “SYSTEM OR MODE TASKED FAILED”
Probable Cause: Conflicting Configuration of the same channel.
Action: Check configuration of channels.
Description: “MOMENTARY FLAP OVERRIDE INVALID”
Probable Cause: Electrical short at the Flap Override input.
Action: Verify wiring from the Flap Override Switch.
