Silence
Use the
SIGNAL
SILENCE
key to silence the panel sounder and turn off all audio and visual devices
connected to Notification Appliance Circuits. When pressed, the control panel does the following:

If any alarm or trouble exists after you press the
SYSTEM
RESET
key, all NACs, control outputs, and
panel audio and visual indicators will reactivate.
NOTE:
If Local Control is set to “1” (NO), the FACP will not respond to
ACKNOWLEDGE
, and the
piezo will not sound.
NOTE:
If Local Control is set to “1” (NO)
or “2” (Partial Control), the FACP will not respond to
SIGNAL
SILENCE
.
NOTE:
Trouble conditions will not clear and re-report upon reset.
NOTE:
If Local Control is set to “1” (NO), the FACP will not respond to
SYSTEM
RESET
.
