For the main panel, the positive side of the device should connect to terminal 34, and the negative side to terminal 33. For 5815XL devices, ensure they connect via the SLC OUT terminals. There should only be one SLC loop on the main panel and each 5815XL module, and devices should not be connected to terminals labeled SLC IN. Also, verify that the SLC devices have been properly addressed. For contact monitor modules using DIP switches, the switch must be set to the correct address before power is applied, or the device will have an incorrect address. Finally, ensure correct polarity has been observed for SLC device wiring.
