Installation:
Step 1: Mount the socket either on the wall or in the ceiling. Connect the mains cables L, N and GND (optional)
to the terminal block. For maintained operation, a link wire must be present between L and L1. The C1
and C2 terminals are used for elBus communication (optional), DALI communication (optional) or
voltage free contact (optional). If open cabling is used, the knock-out in the luminaire must be removed.
Maintained Non-maintained
Step 2: Remove the battery cover, connect the battery and fasten the battery cover again.
Step 3: Hook the luminaire to the hinge on the socket and swing the luminaire until the socket locks.
Service/maintenance:
Step 4: First, remove the lens by carefully using a flat-bladed screwdriver at the marked positions.
Step 5: Then, use a flat-bladed screwdriver to release the luminaire housing while lifting the lower part of the
luminaire off the socket.
Step 6: If changing the battery, open the battery cover, disconnect the old battery and connect a new one.
