    Why is my Hoover Enhanced Clean not producing steam?

      There are several reasons why your Hoover Steam Cleaner might not be producing steam. The clean water tank may be empty, or not correctly attached. The water filter may be clogged and needs replacing. The thermal protector may have turned off the pump because the unit was operated before the steam indicator was illuminated, in which case you should unplug the unit and allow it to cool down. Another possibility is that the steam path may be blocked.
