To remove the clean water
tank, squeeze release
button and pull to remove.
Twist tank cap counter
clockwise and lift to remove.
Using the water tank cap
as a measuring cup, pour
in the required amount of
detergent (approx. 60ml
per 1 litre of water).

Please read General Safety Information at the beginning before use.
Please remove any large objects or debris and it is advisable to then vacuum your hard floor prior to using your
Floormate Edge.
Important: Only use Hoover hard floors cleaning detergent. Using other detergents may cause excess foaming.
Excessive foam will prevent the machine from working effectively.
Warning: Always switch the machine off and unplug before carrying out any maintenance.

Place base of machine on the
floor and lock machine body
into place.
Lock handle into place.
Turn handle release dial in to
‘locked’ position.
