What to do if Horiba Measuring Instruments shows unstable reading error?
- JjosephpattersonAug 19, 2025
If you are getting unstable readings on your Horiba Measuring Instruments, it could be due to several factors. The sample solution might be pure water or have low conductivity, or the pH concentration or temperature might be changing. Try pressing the MEAS key again while “HOLD” is blinking or lit to measure the sample using instantaneous value measurement. Also, the electrode could be dirty, cracked, or have a responsive glass membrane that has been dry for too long. Try washing or replacing the electrode. If the membrane has been dry, soak it in pure deionized water for 24 hours. Finally, ensure the sample solution temperature is stable before measuring.
