voltage and frequency, and connected to an
individd properly grounded branch circuit
protected by a circuit breaker or time delay fuse, as
noted on the rating plate.

Ifthe electric service provided does not meet the
above specifications, it is recommended that a
licensed electrician install an approved outlet

must be used.
PREPARE THE OPENING

adjacent vertical walls above cooktop surtice.
Allow30”minimum clearance between surfitce
units and bottom of unprotected wood or metal
top cabinet and 15” minimum between
countertop and adjacent cabinet bottom.
EXCEPTION:Installationof the listed
microwave oven or cooking appliance over
the cooktop shall conform to the installation
instructions packed with that appliance.
To eliminate the risk of burns or fire by reaching
over heated surface units, cabinet storage space
above the surface units should be avoided. If
cabinet storage is to be provided, the risk can be
reduced by installing a range hood that projects
horizontally a min. of 5“ beyond the bottom of
the cabinets. Make sure the wall coverings,
countertops and cabinets around the range can
withstand heat generated by the range, oven or
Cooktop up to 200° E
