Next, check if the fuel valve is open. A loose spark plug wire could also be the culprit, so make sure it's securely connected. Also, verify that the choke or throttle are correctly set and that the engine ON/OFF switch is in the ON position. Finally, check the engine oil level, as some engines won't start if the oil is too low. Replenish the oil if needed.

If water spray doesn’t show within 10-15 seconds, discontinue running the machine and troubleshoot, as damage to the pump will occur if allowed to run.

  Your Hotsy Pressure Washer may not produce hot water if the burner switch is in the OFF position (place it in the ON position), there's an inadequate fuel supply (refill the fuel tank using recommended fuels), the water supply is inadequate (fully open the faucet, check for hose issues, and clear any inlet screen blockages), the trigger isn't squeezed (water must be spraying for the burner to light), the thermostat is set too low (adjust it to the desired temperature), the fuse is blown (replace it; it's in the Control Box), or the engine is running too slow (move the throttle lever to full throttle).
