Purpose: The document is intended for use by end-of-life recyclers or treatment facilities. It provides the basic instructions
for the disassembly of HP products to remove components and materials requiring selective treatment, as defined by EU
directive 2002/96/EC, Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).

Tools Required for Disassembly

Screwdriver (Plum Flower Head)

Tool description: Screwdriver with a plum flower head, size PH2.

Hex Nut Screwdriver

Tool description: Hex nut screwdriver, size M5.

Product Disassembly Process Steps

Step 1: Quick Release Base Stand

Step 1: Release the base stand by pressing the white button and pulling out the stand.

Step 2: Remove Rear Cover

Step 2: Strip screws from the rear cover, remove the cover, and disconnect the 8-pin FFC.

Step 3: Remove Shielding

Step 3: Dismantle the rear cover supporter, pull LVDS/LED FFCs, and remove four screws from shielding.

Step 4: Strip Screws

Step 4: Remove the 9 screws.

Step 5: Release Materials for ESD

Step 5: Release all materials and place them by ESD.
