Requirements
The
9845C
mainframe
and
CRT each has its own power cord connector
and
fuse. The main-
frame has
one
voltage selector switch
and
the CRT has two. These are located on the rear
panels of the CRT
and
mainframe, as shown.

CONNECT THE AC POWER CORD(S) BEFORE REMOVING OR
INSTALLING A FUSE.
A different fuse
is
required for each of the two voltage ranges of 120 Vac and
240
Vac.
The
proper types
and
ratings are shown
in
this table.

Always be sure that the correct fuse
is
installed. Failure to
do
so may result
in
damage to the
computer. When changing a fuse, make sure that the replacement
is
the proper rating
and
type.
The previous drawings show the location of the fuse(s) on the
System 45. (The
98458
has one
fuse, the
9845C
has two fuses.) To change a fuse,
first
disconnect the power cord(s) from the
computer.
