Troubleshooting Tables
This table shows the assemblies that most likely have failed causing certain exercisers, tests,
or
diagnostics to
fail.
Across the top are the four main configurations of
9845
desktop computers.
The left column
is
a listing of system exerciser and diagnostic tests. Under each mainframe type
is
a list of assemblies that could cause the failure, the most probable listed first followed by other
assemblies that could also cause the problem.
For
RWM
and
ROM failures, memory troubleshooting permits failure pointers to the chip level.
