HP Enhanced DFS is built upon the Distributed Computing Environment
using the 64-bit kernel-threaded environment.
As a result, the following are prerequisites for the installation of the HP
Enhanced DFS product:
• HP DCE/9000 Core Client Software product
• B6733AA DCE/9000 Kernel Threads Support bundle
The DCE core client package (DCE-Core) is bundled with HP-UX 11.00,
and consequently should be present on all supported systems. The DCE
kernel threads package (B6733AA) is available without a codeword from the
HP-UX 11.00 Applications media.
