scrupdate (1M)
NAME
scrupdate – update SCR contents
SYNOPSIS
/opt/scr/bin/scrupdate [-t name
] {-a | -n node }
DESCRIPTION
scrupdate collects system configuration information on registered
managed nodes through DMI. scrupdate compares newly collected
information with the most recently collected information. If a difference
is detected, newly collected information is registered in the repository.
If no difference exists, the new information is not registered in the
repository.
Options
-a Collect configuration information from all managed
nodes.
-n node Collect configuration information for a specified node
node .
-t
name Set name as a tag for the collected snapshot. scrdiff or
scrviewer can use the tag. See scrtag (1M) for more
information.
Formats
Upon completion, some of the following messages are output:
Configuration data for "
node : time " collected.
Tag "
name " generated for " node : time ".
Configuration data for "
node : time "
collected with partial error.

Data registered in the repository.
