Supplies group corrective action
If official HP cartridges are installed and the
supplies-related message continues to
display, use the following procedure to
determine what is defective.
1. If a specific cartridge is identified as
defective, replace that cartridge with a
genuine HP cartridge that does not
cause this error in another MFP.
2. If the error continues, inspect the E-
label-reader guide pins in the MFP
engine. If a pin is damaged or broken,
replace the whole MFP.
3. If the E-label-reader guide pins are in
serviceable condition, replace the DC
controller.
4. Perform post-repair tests #1 and #2.
5. If the issue persists, replace the whole
MFP.
