NOTE If the 2ndary Service menu is already unlocked, skip to step 4.
1. Press Menu.
2. Press and hold the Left arrow and Cancel buttons simultaneously.
3. Release the Left arrow and Cancel buttons.
4. Press Menu.
5. Press the navigation arrows to select 2ndary Service.
6. Press OK.
7. Press the navigation arrows to select Scan calibration.
8. Press OK.
9. Press the navigation arrows to select Calibrate.
10. Press the navigation arrows to select the desired calibration option. The following choices are
available:

300 mono copy
●
600 scan to host
●
1200 scan to host
●
300 color copy
11. Press OK to generate the calibration graph.
Display test
The test verifies that all LEDs and control-panel characters display correctly. First the LEDs
illuminate one at a time. Then the pixels in each line are tested. Finally, the CM1015 control panel
displays all 255 characters in screens of 16 characters; the CM1017 control panel displays ?????
instead of characters.
