Click Easy Install, and then click Next. The Installing Color LaserJet CM1312 MFP Series
installation progress window opens.
6. The Connection Type window opens. Click Directly to this computer using a USB cable..
7. The Connect your device now window opens. Connect the USB cable from the computer to the
product. Once the USB is connected, the install continues automatically.
8. The Congratulations! Install Finished window opens. Click Exit.
9. Restart any anti-virus and firewall applications that are on your computer.
Advanced Install
1. Quit all open programs.
2. Insert the solutions software CD into the CD-ROM drive.
3. On the Select Install to begin installing your new HP device window, click Recommended
Install.
4. The Please allow all HP Install Wizard Processes window opens. Click Next.

7. The End User Agreement opens. Click I agree to continue installing the printer-driver software.

will be installed on the computer. Click Next to continue.
9. The Connection Type window opens. Click Directly to this computer using a USB cable.
