the patient’s heart rate.

Alarms
There are three preset high/low SpO
2
alarm limits: 100/90, 100/85 and 100/80. Press
the button repeatedly to cycle through the alarm options and the no-
alarm option. Stop when you see the alarm you would like to choose and after three
seconds that alarm will take effect. A symbol replaces the limits to show that
the alarm is active. To review the limit set, press the button.
If the SpO
2
level falls below the low alarm limit, an alarm sounds and the violated
limit is highlighted.
