Step 4: Connect the Notebook to
External Power

Only compatible AC adapters and battery packs should be used
with the notebook. For additional information, visit the HP Web
site at
http://www.hp.com or use the Worldwide Telephone Numbers
booklet (English only), included with your notebook, to contact
Customer Care.
To connect the notebook to external AC power:
1. Plug the AC adapter cable 1 into the power connector on the
notebook.
2. Plug the power cord 2 into the AC adapter, and then into the
electrical outlet 3.
