Removal and Replacement Procedures
6.12 Fan
1. Prepare the notebook for disassembly (Section 6.3).
2. Remove the switch cover (Section 6.9).
3. Remove the keyboard (Section 6.11).
4. Disconnect the fan cable 1 from the system board.
5. Remove the 3 Torx T8M2.5×7.0 screws 2 that secure the fan
to the notebook.
6. Remove the fan 3.
Removing the Fan
Reverse the above procedure to install the fan.
