If the display does not react to the change in temperature, press cancel and check the connections
and cables of the Curing IR sensor, if everything is connected correctly replace the Curing IR sensor

7. If the temperature changes correctly, press OK to continue.
8. The front panel displays the following screen, close the window and press Ok.
9. The printer sets a target temperature of 45C and tries to achieve and sustain the target temperature.
In order to achieve this, the closed loop system must work correctly.
10. The printer heats up the print zone to the target temperature, and maintains it there until Ok is
pressed.
11. Press OK to finish the test, some extra time will now be required while the printer cools down.
8.2 Curing
Description
The Curing diagnostic test enables the onsite engineer to check the performance of the heaters in the
Curing Module Assembly. The following parts are tested:
• The heaters in the Curing Assembly.
• The complete servo system.
In order for the test to run, there must be media loaded in the media path.
Procedure
1. Go to Diagnostic tests>8. Heating and Curing>8.2 Curing Test.
NOTE: In order to obtain an accurate test of the Curing heating system, the printer must be in
a stable temperature condition.
