2. The following message is displayed, confirm there is media loaded.
3. The temperature is detected and checked that it is stable.
4. The following message is displayed, remove the Curing IR Sensor from its place in the printer, but do
not disconnect it. Press Ok.
5. Point the Curing IR temperature sensor at your hand and check that the temperature changes.
6. Press OK to continue or Cancel if the value did not change or is not as expected.
The printer sets a target temperature of 50C.
The printer heats up the curing zone to the target temperature, and maintains it there until you press
OK.
7. Press OK to finish the test. Some extra time is required for the printer to cool down.
8.3 Heating (Dryer) IR Sensor
Description
This test checks the connection and functionality of the Dryer IR Temperature Sensor.
Procedure
1. Go to Diagnostic tests>8. Heating and Curing>8.3 Heating IR Sensor.
